This elaborate and exquisite inkwell set by Montegrappa was part of a series of two limited edition inkwells to honor the achievements of the ancient Egyptians. This inkwell is #125/388 and is made of sterling silver, while the base is made of labradorite. The labradorite base is in the shape of an Egyptian urn, while the top of the inkwell depicts the head of the Egyptian god Anubis. The eyes of the head are made of two faceted sapphires. There is also a sterling silver cobra wrapped around the bottom of the inkwell. Comes in an elaborate wooden box. Measures 6" x 2 1/2"
