Dudchenko, Nancy Weeks (American/Western PA, b. 1943), Pair of Wall Panels, late 20th century, glazed ceramic, signed at the bottom edge. Tiles with applied decoration. 35.5 x 17.75 inches. Dudchenko received her Bachelor of Science in Art at Kutztown University. She owned a sculpture studio and began the production of one-of-a-kind high fired ceramic wall sculptures and murals. She created a student mentorship program in collaboration with Seton Hill College, Greensburg, PA for art students with high ambition of achieving a successful career in the arts. She taught advanced ceramic sculpture at University of Indiana, Indiana, PA. Nancy’s sculptures hang in over 200 corporate and private collections and are represented in many museum collections throughout the USA. She has had numerous solo exhibitions in galleries and museums, has participated in hundreds of invitational exhibitions throughout the USA and is recognized in many art publications. Nancy closed her studio after 32 years in 1997.
