Native American silver Kokopelli decorated cuff and ring. The silver cuff is decorated with deeply engraved "Kokopelli" figure, with an engraved rain cloud over head. The figure is a common figure in Native American and South and Central American countries. Known as a God of Harvest, fertility, prankster, healer and story teller. In Pueblo myths he carried seeds, babies and blanket to offer the maidens he seduced. His image was derived from traveling traders who announced their arrival by playing the flute. The cuff measures 6 5/8" interior, 3/4" wide. Marked "sterling" with a bear paw hallmark. Approx. 49.3 grams. The silver ring features an elongated polished oval face with a deeply engraved "Kokopelli" figure with a darkened surface. Measures 31 mm in width. Size 7 3/4. Marked "sterling" with an "L framed sunrise" hallmark. Approx. 6.3 grams.
