Dow, Neal, ALS to J. R. Trivley (?), Esquire, dated Portland (Maine) August 29, 1854, nine line letter in brown ink on blue paper, framed with a portrait of Dow, letter 6.5 x 4.5 inches, framed 9 x 12 inches. Dow was a Quaker, Prohibition advocate and politician. The letter mentions an election on September 11th.
