Bubash, Nick (American/Pittsburgh, 1949-2021) and Thom deVita (American/NYC, 1933-2018), Original Mail Art, c.2000, ink, marker, tape and glue on brown paper, 19.5 x 23 inches, unframed. Bubash and deVita collaborated through the mail and in person on various tattoo, fine art and mail art projects over their decades long friendship. deVita mentored Bubash in his early years, and any art by the pair of them rarely turns up for sale. Provenance: from the estate of the pioneering tattoo artist, fine artist and sculptor Nick Bubash, Pittsburgh, PA.
