Nigerian cowrie shell coiled woven basket. Woven grass with leather rim and base. Likely made by the Hausa or Yoruba tribe. 9.75 x 8.5 inches.
Shells missing along the upper edge, one loose shell near bottom, leather worn and missing in some areas along rim.
