Rosfeld, Norman (American/Western PA, d.2020), Strata Patterns, 1950, abstract egg tempera and oil on Masonite, signed and dated lower right, 24 x 19.5 inches, in a period wood frame measuring 30.5 x 26.5 inches. Rosfeld attended Carnegie Mellon University, then known as Carnegie Tech, in Pittsburgh on the GI Bill where he was a classmate of Andy Warhol and Philip Pearlstein.
