Romig, Orlando (American, 1898-1964), Untitled (Bridge Under Structure), c. 1950, gelatin silver print, 17.5 x 15 inches, framed 25.75 x 23.25 inches. Orlando Romig was a Pittsburgh pictorialist who exhibited in many shows around Pittsburgh and whose work can be found in several museum collections including the Carnegie Museum of Art and the Brooklyn Museum. He was a member of the country's oldest Pictorialist group, The Photographic Section of the Academy of Science and Art in Pittsburgh, now known as the Pittsburgh Photography Club. Along with Luke Swank and Clyde Hare, Romig is considered part of the Golden Age of Pittsburgh photography.
