Fuehrer, Ottmar F. von (Austrian/American/Pittsburgh, 1900-1967), Fishing Stream Near Tampa Florida, c.1950s, gouache on artist's board, signed lower right, titled on a label affixed to the verso, 22 x 30 inches, in a wood frame under glass 26 x 33.5 inches. Fuehrer was a longtime staff artist at the Carnegie Institute (later the Carnegie Museum, Pittsburgh) and painted many of the wall murals and backgrounds for dioramas.
