Kuhler, Otto August (German/American, 1894-1977), influenced by the sculpture by James Earle Fraser, The End of the Trail, circa 1930, oil on canvas, 31 x 22, signed lower right, framed in a period wood frame measuring 36.5 x 27.5 inches. Taylor's sculpture was erected in 1928 in Waupun, Wisconsin.
