Kuhler, Otto August (German/American, 1894-1977), Pouring Ingots, circa 1925, oil on canvas, 22.5 x 27.25 inches, signed lower right, Provenance: The Arthur C. Riley Collection, Pittsburgh, Pa.; The current owner acquired from Arthur Riley, Exhibited in Southwestern Pennsylvania Painters, Westmoreland Museum of American Art, September-October 1981, catalogue no. # 148, framed in a period Arts and Crafts frame measuring 28 x 33 inches, a rare mill interior featuring flaming steel being poured into ingot molds and managed by a worker.
