Avinoff, Andrey (Russian/American 1884 - 1948), Untitled (Interior drawings of Cooks Forest, Pennsylvania), circa 1930s, pair of charcoal drawings on paper, apparently unsigned, drawings measure 10 x 6.75 inches and 11.75 x 8.75 inches, both matted measuring 11.5 x 9 inches and 14 x 11 inches respectively, unframed. Provenance: The Estate of Andrey Avinoff; by direct descent the present owner, the artist's grand niece. Drawn during artist's tenure as Director of the Carnegie Museum of Natural History.
