The design in silver is attributed to the sculptor John Flaxman, who served as designer for Rundell, Bridge and Rundell from 1804. Many examples are known, including a set of eight by Benjamin and James Smith, 1808, in the Royal Collection. A set of four by Paul Storr, 1816-17, with the crest of the Dukes of Norfolk, is in the Jerome and Rita Gans collection at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (cat. no. 45).
