Pair of Louis XVI style fauteuil chairs. Attractively weathered gilt finish with visible bole and gesso, acanthus motif at arms, fluted tapered legs terminating in spade feet. Upholstered in classically themed fabric, with complimentary striped fabric at back. 39 x 23 x 22.5 inches.
Condition
In overall good condition. Usage related abrasions and accretions. Staining on seat of one. Some usage related surface dirt on upholstery at arms.
