Pair of aluminum and glass compotes designed by Lurelle Van Arsdale Guild (American, 1898–1985) for Kensington Ware, Inc. (New Kensington, Pennsylvania, 1934–1965; a subsidiary of Alcoa, Pittsburgh, 1888-present) American, designed in 1934. Stratford series, model 7411. In production until the end of WWII. Examples of these pieces are currently in the permanent collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and The Minneapolis Institute of Art Collection. Both 6 x 13.25 inches.

Condition
