Binai, Paul (American/ Western PA, 1932-2014), Kabuki Actor, c.1984, pastel and gouache on paper, possibly signed on the verso, sheet 23.75 x 17.5 inches, framed 30.5 x 24.5 inches. Exhibited: Paul Binai - Japonisme, 1985, University of Pittsburgh Art Gallery, with a poster from the exhibition included. Binai was a former curator at the Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh. Provenance: The Estate of Wendi A. Miller, Pittsburgh, owner of Miller Frame in East Liberty.
Condition
