Brutalist nightstand and full size headboard by Lane from the Pueblo line, 1970s. Drawing design inspiration from 20th century American Brutalist designer Paul Evans, with striking geometric molded relief in a T-form design on the full sized headboard, and on the nightstand's double doors which open to reveal one shelf. Oak veneer casing and headboard construction. Stenciled serial and model numbers on back panels of each. Nightstand 22 x 28 x 16 inches, headboard 45.25 x 60 x 2 inches. Nightstand -- top surface with dents, accretions, and abrasions. Left side panel with scratches and black letter transfer. Case with scrapes, scratches and accretions throughout. Interior heavily stained with remnants of paper affixed to lower surface. Headboard -- chipped at front left and upper right edges, abrasions on both side edges.
