Iribe, Paul (French, 1883-1935), Untitled design of a fan, pochoir, signed to bottom right of image, image size 9.5 x 11 inches, sheet size 19 x 13.25 inches, unframed. From L’Eventail et la Fourrure Chez Paquin in which three popular fashion illustrators, Paul Iribe, George Barbier and Georges Lepape all contributed to the fashion album illustrating furs and fans made for the female couturier Jeanne Paquin. Album is printed by Maquet and Paquin was known for her business sense and her novel use of fans as a promotional tool.
