Ellenshaw, Peter (William Samuel Cook) (British, 1913-2007), Hogs Head, County Kerry, Ireland, 1975, oil on canvas, signed and dated lower left, artist's copyright stamp and personal inventory number 1565 on the verso, 24 x 36 inches, in a black and gold painted wood frame 35 x 46.5 inches. Provenance: Purchased by the consignor from Hammer Galleries, New York, in 1979, will include a scanned copy of the original sales receipt. Ellenshaw got his start working designing special effects for Disney.
