Plutarch, Lives of the Noble Grecians and Romanes, complete set in 8 volumes, 1928, number 211 of 500 copies of the large paper edition, hardcover, cloth-backed boards, leather and gilt title labels, Houghton Mifflin, printed at the Shakespeare Head Press, illustrated, most top edges uncut, each volume 9.5 x 6.5 inches. TOGETHER WITH 7 limited edition books published by The Society of Bibliophiles, The Peotone in 3 volumes and The Facetious Nights in 4 volumes, 1890s, limited to 1000, gilt stamped cloth, illustrated. Total of 15 books.
Very Good+, light wear to the labels and boards; tight bindings; clean and unmarked contents. The other 7 volumes in good condition, spines faded and slightly cocked.
