Matisse, after Henri, The Dance / La Danse, c.1940-1950s, richly inked color pochoir print on heavy cream paper, signed in the plate lower right, image 18.25 x 23.5 inches, full sheet 21 x 29.5 inches, currently in a window mat. A much larger and more vivid version than the lithograph made for Verve in 1938.
In good condition, heavy mat burn, some light undulation to the paper and a few faint scratches; old tape marks along the verso from previous hinging.
