Crumb, R. (Robert), Head Comix, 1968, first edition, Viking Press, hardcover in dust jacket, illustrated throughout, introduction by Paul Krassner. One of the first examples of a mainstream publisher putting out the work of an underground comix/cartoon artist. Provenance: The personal collection of Edward J. Grzybowski. Ed was co-owner of Tri-State Antiques in Canonsburg. He was well known and respected in the field for his vast knowledge of antiques and decorative arts, particularly 20th century design.
Good in a Good dust jacket; a few pages with a small spot stain in the bottom margin, otherwise the text and illustrations are unmarked; boards lightly shelf worn and dusty; the dust jacket chipped and torn at the spine ends; other light edgewear; general age and handling, including a few small stains; original price present; now in a mylar wrap.
