Kleeman, Richard (American/Western PA, 1926-2001), Untitled Abstract Collage, c.1980s, mixed media with paint and metal on wood panel, unsigned, in a wood fame 24 x 48 inches. Kleeman came to Allegheny College in Meadville, PA in 1953 as an art instructor and was named an assistant professor in 1955, associate professor in 1962 and full professor in 1968. He was chair of the Allegheny Art Department from 1979 to 1987 and retired in 1993 after 40 years of teaching. Provenance: gift of the artist. In good condition, with inherent rusting.
