Gwathmey, Robert (American, 1903-1988), Rural Home Front, 1943, (Williams #2), color screenprint, 10.25 x 18.25 inches, signed in ink upper right edge, from an edition of 100, this print was awarded first prize in the 1943 Artists for Victory exhibition. other examples of this print are in the collections of Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), Whitney Museum of American Art, National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C., Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Dallas Museum of Art, Art Institute of Chicago, Moderna Museet, Stockholm.
