De Foe, Daniel, The Life and Adventures of Robinson Crusoe, 1864, hardcover, 8vo., in exquisite designer binding by Bayntun showing the title character looking out to sea, 8.75 x 6.75 inches, full blue leather, gilt ruled, raised bands and gilt title to spine, aeg, leather dentelles with binder's stamp to front pastedown, published by Routledge, illustrated by JD Watson, housed in custom slipcase with protective folder.
In very good condition, a touch of sunning to the spine and edges; foxing to first and last few leaves; strong binding; slipcase with moderate wear and fading.
