Blumenfeld, Rochelle (American/Pittsburgh, contemporary), Sun Pocket II, acrylic on canvas, 1986, signed and dated at lower right, also signed, titled, and dated verso. Canvas 35.75 x 48 inches, in a wood strip frame with gilt strip detailing 36.5 x 48.5 inches. Blumenfeld has had numerous exhibitions throughout the United States and Europe. Her work has been included in the Bicentennial Exhibit of “American Painters in Paris” in Paris, France; Copley Society, Boston; Dunferline Fife, Scotland; and the Westmoreland Museum of Art, Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Her paintings are represented in many private and public collections including the Museum of Art, Carnegie Institute, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
