Bennett, Ron (American, Western PA, 1941-2017), Underwater Trout Fishing Diorama, titled Trout Fishing in America, 1979, carved pine wood, gesso, glass, and found objects in an enclosed cherry wood shadow box, 17.25 x 12 x 19.5 inches. Provenance: acquired from the artist; The Estate of James Winokur, Pittsburgh, Pa. Comes with a b&w photo of the piece, signed, dated, and titled on the reverse by Bennett. The title appears to be an homage to Richard Brautigan's novella by the same name.
