Dali, Salvador (Spanish/Catalan, 1904-1989), Royal Insect / Metamorphosis, 1974, color lithograph on 4 sheets of wove paper, no apparent watermark, signed and editioned AP 48/50 in pencil, sheet sizes 25.5 x 19 inches and 25.5 x 36 inches, all put together the piece measures 51 x 55 inches, unframed. Printed by Grapholith, France, and published by Jacques Carpentier. Michler/Lopsinger 1446; Field 74-10 Q. Provenance: Angel International Fine Arts, Beverly Hills, CA, with print info sheet included.
Sheets in fair to good condition, top left with printer's skips and light wear to the upper margin, two smaller sheets both toned, and the lower right sheet with a vertical band of fading; all with generally minor signs of age and handling to the edges.
