Set of six mahogany Chippendale side chairs, late 18th or 19th Century production, each with scrolled and carved ears, shell carved crest over a pierced vertical splat and horse hair stuffed upholstered slip seat, supported by straight legs joined by H-stretchers. Provenance: Pittsburgh family since 1960's.
Condition
One slip seat is broken in two areas and is not functional. Some areas with slight separation. Two chairs with worn chipped ears. Repairs evident in some areas. Dents, scratches, light cracks, scuffs throughout. Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
