A set of four mid to late 19th century porcelain bowls, clan crest at center with Pacis Nuncia [Messenger of Peace] above a dove holding a branch in its beak, hand painted gilt accents with various floral motifs. Marked Gordon, No. WB, and stamped W at underside, diameter 10.25 inches. This motto and imagery are typically associated with the Murray family of Stanhope, Scotland.

Condition
