Sheffield silver plate fish set housed in a mahogany box with monogrammed brass element. 24 pices plus the box. Hand chased blades and forks, celluloid or bone handles. Knives 8.5 inches, forks 7 inches, box 2.5 x 14 x 9.25 inches. Provenance: The Estate of Edith (Toto) Fisher, Pittsburgh, PA. Toto Fisher was an active supporter of the arts in Pittsburgh, and served on the boards of many of the city's most important institutions, including The Carnegie Museum of Art. Note: Previous description was incorrect.
Condition
Cracks on the handles of some, usage related wear. Box interior faded in some areas. Case shrinkage cracks and surface wear.
