Coffee table with base fashioned from 2 carretto siciliano (Sicilian cart) axels. Carved wood supports featuring mascarons, one with angels and chariot, the other time worn with men at battle. Detailed scrolling ironwork depicting Roman soldiers amongst floral and foliate details, all below a square beveled glass top surface. Each axel is 16.75 x 39 x 16 inches, glass top is .5 x 54 x 42 inches.
