Stout, possibly M. (late 19th or early 20th Century Still Life School), Blackberries Forest Floor Still Life, late 19th or Early 20th Century, oil on canvasboard, 8 x 6 inches, signed indistinctly lower left, framed in a period gilded wood frame measuring 12 x 9.5 inches. Provenance: The personal collection of Gary S. Grimes, Pittsburgh. Gary was an expert on Western Pennsylvania art, and especially the Scalp Level painters.
