Canvas 32 x 26 inches, in a 40.75 x 34.75 inch frame. Books 9 x 7 inches, and 8.5 x 5.5 inches. Elkind was a self-taught Pittsburgh poet and artist. She had a number of poems and books of poetry published and founded the Squirrel Hill Poetry Workshop in 1977. Provenance: the Artist's collection.
