Provenance: Miles Laboratory Collection, Elkhart In. (manufacturer of Alka Seltzer), Langsdorf is best known for the “Doomsday Clock” image on the cover of the June 1947 issue of Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists (her husband was Alexander Langsdorf, Jr. (1912-1996) who worked on The Manhattan Project).
