Shima, Tamami (Japanese, 1937-1999), Lemon, 1960, color woodcut, 15 x 10.5 inches, signed, dated and titled along the lower margin. Framed 24 x 17 inches. Very little is known about this mid century female Japanese artist. Said to have designed perhaps as few as 60 prints all told, Shima might have worked as a printmaker for fewer than 10 years. 

Sheet has been mounted to a backing board; otherwise in good condition, foxing and faint burn to the margins.
