Taxco artisan silver "Cat" figural brooch pins. The group of 4 pins are fashioned of silver and designed by Mexican silver artists D'Molina and Anne Harvey during their time with renowned Taxco studio. The figural cat by D'Molina is a moulded piece portraying a menacing cat approaching with curved tail and squinting eyes. Finished with speckled detailing on the body of the animal. With a hinged pin and ring closure. Measures 2 1/2" in length, 2 1/4" wide, 5/16" depth. Marked "D'Molina Mex 925". Approx. 12.6 grams. The next 2 cat pins are signed by artisan Anne Harvey. The brightly polished story pin is fashioned in several layers of simple figures. Depicting a cat leaping over the crescent moon with attached star above the cat and a star dangling from his back foot. Pierced eyes give a cartoonish appearance to the scene. Measures 2 1/8" in length, 1 1/8" wide. Marked "Anne Harvey Mexico 925". Approx. 5.1 grams. The second Anne Harvey pin depicts a curled up cat with attached layers, cats head, a fork in his mouth and napkin?. Triangle cutwork figures curve across his back. Finished with hinged pin and ring closure. Measures 1 5/8" in width, 1" in length. Marked "Anne Harvey Mexico TM-24 925". Approx. 9.0 grams. And the final pin is an elegant long figured cat with cutwork almond eyes, long lashes, a bow at her neck and feathered tail. Finished with a hinged pin and ring closure. Measures 2 3/8" in length, 1 1/4" wide. Marked "SU Mexico 925". Approx. 7.8 grams.
