Hall, Basil, The Great Polyglot Bibles, including a leaf from the Complutensian of Acala 1514-1517, one of 400 copies, 1966, Book Club of California, complete with original leaf, unbound sheets and folders all housed in purple clamshell slipcase, the leaf shows verses from the Book of Jeremiah in Greek, Latin and Hebrew. Provenance: deaccessioned from a regional institution, but with no stamps, stickers or markings; will include a letter of deaccession from the institution.
In nearly fine condition, a fresh, clean copy; slipcase shows minor shelfwear to the tips; the Bible leaf with a small brown accretion, also light fading to the bottom margin.
