[Fine bindings], The Works of Edgar Allan Poe, 4 volumes, 1883, third edition, Adam and Charles Black, Edinburgh, in full leather bindings by Zaehnsdorf, small 8vo. (7.5 x 5 inches), rich brown leather, title labels, marbled endpapers and gilt dentelles, a few illustrations. Includes a Memoir, Poems & Tales, Autography, Criticisms and an Index.
Condition
Bindings in fair condition, Volume 2 with one detached board; Volume 3 with both boards detached and spine leather strip detached; light chipping to spine ends and labels; some staining to exteriors; text in generally good condition. Perfect candidates for a little TLC. Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
