Knesing, Theodor (German, 19th century), Landscape with Girl, mid to late 19th century, oil on board, signed Th. Knesing Munchen lower right, 5.75 x 7.25 inches, unframed. Knesing trained at the Leipzig Academy, 1856-58 and later at the Munich Academy, 1866-67. He was primarily known as a wood engraver. It's possible that this small piece was painted during his two years at the Munich Academy.
