Arthur, Thomas (American, 20th century), View of Pittsburgh, c.1950s, ink on paper, artist's name and title written on the verso, 12.5 x 8 inches. We can't find any information on the artist. An exaggerated view of the city and its surrounding hills and inclines, plus some classic Iron City signage! Provenance: The personal collection of Gary S. Grimes, Pittsburgh. Gary was an expert on Western Pennsylvania art, and especially the Scalp Level painters.
