Buddha Nanda, Tibetan, copper with fire gilding, 18th century, 9.25 x 7 x 5.25 inches, weight: 2580 grams, exquisite lotus throne constructed around the entire base, legs in padmasana posture, curled hair in tall chigon topped with cintamani, lips in slight smile with downcast eyes, urna in center of forehead, sealed and hammered base with double dorje, remnants of blue paint in hair, inscription on base identifies figure. Himalayan Art Resources number 90565.
