Resting on four scrolling metal feet. Includes key, but the lock is not fuctioning. 10 x 12.5 x 7 inches. Folk Art wooden jewelry box, American, early to mid 20th century. Arranged wood pieces create striped and zig-zag patterns. Top opens to a compartment, two drawers below. Apparently unsigned/unmarked. 11.25 x 12.5 x 10 inches. American Folk Art hand painted locking box, 18th or 19th century. Polychrome floral and foliate motif covering three exterior sides and top of lid. 7 x 15.75 x 12.5 inches. Provenance: Collection of a Western Pennsylvania Institution.
In overall good condition, apart from one missing piece at front, one at back, and age related abrasions and accretions of the Folk Art box. The Tramp Art box has some chips, wear, and loss. The lock is not in working order. Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
