Victorian gilt silver blue enamel and pearl locket. The locket and bail are both decorated with a robins egg blue enamel surface. The face of the locket is adorned with an incised three leaf decoration set with 3 seed pearls, approx. 2.3mm each. The interior of the locket is fitted with silk fabric and glazing. The exterior gilt surface shows wear, while the interior surface is fairly intact with some wear to the edges. Marked "M&S" on the top of each side of the interior locket as well as the bail ring. Measures 7 7/8" in length, 3/8" wide, 1/4" deep. Approx. 35.1 grams. Note: minor wear to the enamel edges of the bail. Good condition. See notes in description.
