Vintage Italian enamel vermeil boxes. Includes 3 pictorial boxes. A compact with painted enamel scene of 2 seated women and a young man playing a lute. Surrounded by decorative scrollwork, with wear to the enameled surface. The sides and bottom of the box are decorated with floral engraving. The interior has additional engraving and is fitted with a beveled mirror and mesh powder cover. Marked "Made in Italy". Measures 4 1/8" in length, 4" wide, 5/16" deep. Note: lid does not close tightly, mirror is spotted. Approx. 112.9 grams. A silver vermeil painted enameled pictorial box decorated with a mother and daughter sitting under a tree with their dog. Floral engraving frames the scene and sides of the box. The interior of the box is finished in gold vermeil. Marked "Angelleti Roma 925". Measures 3 1/4" in length, 2" wide, 9/16" deep. Approx. 92.6 grams. An oval enameled compact with 3 young ladies, shepherd and sheep. Framed in scalloped, abstract and floral engraving. The surface and interior are gold vermeil. The interior is fitted with a beveled mirror (age spots), engraved hinged inner powder cover, complete with feather puff. Marked "800". Measures 2 3/4" in length, 2 1/2" wide, 1/2" deep. Approx. 88.5 grams. Good vintage condition. Some wear to the enamel, one lid does not close. Merchandise will be packed and transported by the purchaser at their own risk and expense.
