Weil & Strauss platinum, diamond and emerald jewelry suite. In the original box, this Art Nouveau set features a pair of 1.5 carat rectangular cut emeralds. Each emerald is framed in round cut diamonds set in elongated octagonal mountings. The boxed set features a suite of interchangeable pieces, a ring, earrings, brooch and necklace, complete with a gilded tool used to remove the emerald diamond mountings and attach them to any of the other pieces. The ring mounting has a simple "v" split of the band at the shoulders and engraved channel around the circumferance. Size 7. The earring mountings are decorated with a single rose cut diamond finished with a post and lever back , measure 3/4" long, 1/2" wide. The brooch/pin is designed with a center mounting , elongated bars with single bezel set diamonds on either side. Finished with a pin back and lever safety catch, measures 1 1/2" long, 9/16" wide. Finally, a lavalier style necklace with curling organic pendant decorated with fine milgrain and diamond set cutwork. Two attached chains of different length (2 1/2", 1 1/2") are decorated with rose cut diamonds in alternating round and diamond shaped mountings. The 2 1/2" long, 1" wide pendant has an attached 16" chain with spring ring closure. The red velvet and satin lined box is stamped "Weil & Strauss Joailliers 12 Boulevard des Capucines Paris".
