Austen, Jane, 8 (of 12) volumes from the Works of Jane Austen set published in 1898 by Little, Brown of Boston, includes Sense and Sensibility in 2 vols, Emma in 2 vols, Persuasion, Lady Susan & The Watsons, Pride and Prejudice Volume 1 only and Mansfield Park Volume 2 only, 12mo., in contemporary 3/4 leather with gilt accented spines, teg, each volume with frontis. ALSO WITH 1922 third printing of Love and Friendship and Other Early Works published by Stokes in original paper dust jacket and publisher's special cloth jacket. Provenance: From the collection of the Twentieth Century Club, Pittsburgh, PA with their bookplate on all front pastedowns.
