10K yellow gold Art Nouveau convertible pendant necklace. The organic cutwork pendant is fashioned of curling vines, adorned on one side with prong set pearls and the other is decorated in detailed engraving. The center of the pendant features an enameled bloom with a single prong set diamond at the center and is fitted with a pair of cable link chains, each finished with figural leaves attached to the top of the pendant. This pendant attaches to its chain by a hook at the back of the piece, and the attached chains, also finished with a hook on each leaf do the same. This configuration adds a swag to the piece in "Festoon" style. The pendant chains can also dangle freely beside the pendant in "Tassel" style, or the entire pendant can be detached and worn as a brooch on a blouse or pocket. The pendant measures 1" in length, 3/4" wide. The attached swag chains measure 2 1/8" in length. The cable chain necklace is fitted with 3 rings to accommodate the hook attachments for the pendant, measures 15" in length. Finished with a spring ring clasp. Marked "10 K10". Approx. 5.7 grams. Note: some wear to the enameling on the flower at the center. One pearl has a crack. Good condition. See note in description.
