Follower of Pieter De Hooch (Dutch, 1629-1688), Dutch Interior with Visiting Gentleman Suitor, 17th century, oil on canvas, relined, 20 x 24 inches, with a carved and scrolling gilded frame measuring 25 x 29.5 inches. Provenance: The Honorable and Mrs. James R Kelley, Greensburg, Pa. Old Christie's label affixed to the back of the frame.
Condition
In good condition overall, relined, light crazing and distortions to the surface varnish layer; 4 old patches to the verso with corresponding areas of inpainting/repair.
