Mid 19th Century American School, Portrait of George D. Packer as a Toddler, circa 1860, oil on canvas, relined, 34 x 31 inches, in a period Victorian scrolling and gilded elaborate built up compo frame with a vaulted top measuring 47 x 44 inches, George D. Packer was born in New York City in 1856 and died in 1935 in Reading Pa., his parents, Samuel R. Packer and Mary Ellen Sawyer, were part of the the Packer Family that was prominent in Mystic, Connecticut.
Condition
